I've played the game. The movement seems to be slow. Like, incredibly slow. Falling down can take forever by itself, let alone running to the other side of the map.
It seems that my guy is too big. He takes up a huge amount of area. I feel like I'm control the Incredible Hulk or Godzilla.
I don't like feeling that I am confined into one small area. I feel claustrophobic. Being trapped in that will interfere with me placing a block down to decorate the environment. If you're going to have a Golem as the main character, at least have the kindness to give him a wide area to make up for it.
I also think that you might need to spice up the character a little more. And give him more movement. I get tired of looking at his ugly face and his motion. It gets boring looking at a statue just sliding forward and backward.
Hey, why not give the player an objective? Like build shelter or fight bad guys, maybe even build items and tools? Or maybe save the princess? Make it something more than placing blocks down and roaming aimlessly.
Music, bro. You have to give it some music. Don't just put your favorite rock song, either. Give it something that is catchy and people are willing to listen to for a long period of time without it being over-bearing. Something Pokemon-ish, or at least 8-bit. Not a necessity. And if people don't like your songs, add a mute button to it.
I'm not sure what else there is to say.
