Have fun, haha.
Next time just draw a light source (when I started out I used yellow lines) if you're uncertain where the light is coming from. That's quite a big help ;]

agreed, make your own light source and modify the lighting yourself if you are having issues with identifying the shadows and stuff.
definitely needs a shadow on the right side of the face (left side of the picture)

nice work with the shape of the beard and the work on the lips, but i agree with freelancers initial statement on how it looks like you did some things, then rushed everything else.

So yeah, my swedish self-portrait get WIP status again. I will try to fix some things what you said, guys.

I thought it's right... Added some shadows and removed some light parts.
Maybe i don't understand what you want, eh?

There's too much fluctuation in the colours on the lips.
Pick a light and a dark colour and work from there. Or pick two gradients if you're feeling like it.

Right now there's a very light colour on top, a darker one below there, the same colour as the darker one as a highlight on the lower lip AND a way darker one.

I'd fix it like this:
Change the darker colour on the top lip to the darkest colour of the bottom lips and the lighter colour on the top lip to the lighter colour of the bottom lip.

I kind of agree with you, though, Freelancer is a bit vague haha.
But then again, if he's more specific like I am now, we're kind of doing the work for you ;]
Might restrict your creativity but it seems like you want the help so here you go.

I'm sorry for a bit of offtopic stuff but what is Vector Graphs..? : \
I mean, I know it's a sort of art style, but is it some photoshop function? seems to be done on a computer

No, it isn't PS function. It's the way of drawing.

example

DAt's when you use simple geometry forms and lanes for drawing.

I'll explain it with words:

Basically what your normal painting etcetera is pixels.
Basically all those little dots on your computer screen are pixels, they can change colour and thus create an image.
By painting in something other than a vector image you paint by colouring in the dots.

By drawing using vector you don't use the dots related to each other but instead you use coordinates. See it as some sort of GPS but on your screen. The vector format remembers where each line is in relation to the other instead of simply colouring the pixels. This way you can zoom in and out and still keep that crispy feel!

Vector is highly recommended for logo work and other work that needs to be scaled a lot.

Since vector is not that easy to get smooth colours or colour transitions it is not used that much for painting realistic stuff.
