If what I understand from this is correct, then I don't think bullies need "to be brought back" for this reason. If a child is socially inept, or unaccustomed to the hard spots in life, I would think that'd be a problem with parenting more than anything. Your father and/or mother are there to help guide you through life, teach you stuff etc. I think it's more "how do we give children/teens the knowledge to deal with life." only in a perfect world though. Bullying is the wrong approach though.

Boy do I say life a lot.

^ this. So do you basically suggest that kids should abuse and bully some kids at schools, because you think that it would make the bullied kids more of a "man"? Do you suggest schoolgirls shouls also get bullied?
schoolgirls wont get bullied because the bullies want to fuck them

OP made me laff today.

But anyway, I find that trying to regulate 'bullying' (I emphasize bullying since many schools are very obviously trying to stop more than just that) is more or less dealing with a double-edged blade.
In saying so, on one hand you have a portion of a generation of children growing up with depressing and troubled social childhoods, and on the other you have a generation of children growing up with less social preparation than Steve Urkel.
Usually I just interpret this as, "either way, some kids are going to be fucked up."

But anyway, I think that the latter consequence is only apparent because of the system's over-involvement in the situation.
If anything, the bullying of a student should be brought to the attention of a parent or teacher, and then dealt with accordingly. Nothing more, nothing less. Else we may as well end up back where we began.
Yes please bring back the douche bags that forced me to cut hide in my room for weeks attempt suicide several times ... This is just plain douchery

Who ever says bullying should be "brought back" was never bullied because it does not make you a man it makes you a depressed cluster fuck of emotional stress

I'm fat and
homosexual
I know what bullying is its not just for the smaller weaker kids I'm a 6 foot tall 250 lbs boy I could kick their ass if I wanted to but the emotional damage that they cause disables me from doing so.. This thread disgusts me...

This thread sort of took the pussy side real fast...

Forms of bullying are not limited to physical abuse, it toughens some kids up. And besides, anyone dumb/unstable enough to suicide over what people say is not someone I'd want to share a planet with.

I call Poe's law on this one.

Forms of bullying are obviously not limited to physical abuse but it is a part of the process as I stated before.
The very definition of the term implies that.
Let me repeat for you.
Bullying is the use of force or coercion to abuse or intimidate others.

Simply picking on someone is a whole different thing, as Deprav explained.
Let me also repeat that for you.

Yes, children need to learn how to deal with getting picked on.
They do not have to learn how to deal with getting intimidated or abused through force or coercion because those actions are against the law (over here anyway).

Also wow, did you just imply that bullying is something people just say?
Yes, please leave this planet.

Yes, everybody needs a bit of bullying to not become a stupid brat. I thought that was obvious already.
