Even I, who hates the emo/gothic crowd with a passion, am able to understand that "emo" kids don't kill themselves to seek revenge on their parents. They do it because they don't see a worthwhile future ahead of them. They're tormented in their young lives and are unable to grasp the concept that as people age, they become more open to all types of people. It's not selfish, it's desperate. It's selfish to call a loved one who committed suicide selfish. Someone killed themselves to escape lives problems, not gain what another has or what they envy.

I would call suicide desperate, or sometimes the people who do it, ignorant. Every case is different. Not all people who commit suicide are desperate, not all are ignorant. Some both, some neither.

Erm, let's get it straight... if you suicide, you probably don't get to land of rainbows and popsicles, but instead you're dead = nothing, no experience, no memories you're simply not there, ur dead. I think if you suicide, you're either brave or you dunno what you're doing.

Suicide is a symptom of fundamental flaws in society such as failing support networks. It is not a selfish act, nor can the reasons behind it be selfish(stupid examples that would never actually happen do not apply.) If relatives/friends are unable to detect that a person is very upset with life, unable to make them see the value in continuing to live, they don't deserve to call that person selfish for ending their life, plain and simple. /thread

JS lots of people beleive in heaven and hell so dont try to prove somebody wrong on these facts cause you cant. I don't suppose you died and came back to life to tell us this now did you?

So your point is I can't prove it, because a big group of people don't think that way? That's not how proving stuff works. The thing is not that I can't prove it, but that it's a controversial subject

You can't prove it until you have been to that stage. Have you died before? I didn't think so. Not saying that I believe in whatever the hell other people are saying, I am saying you have no right to judge what happens after you die because you do not know FOR SURE what is actually going to happen.
