Re: Does anyone take real karate?
sorry for the double post, but i thought this needed a bump.

maybe we could have a "Blackbelts of Toribash" group. or something like that. anyone think this is a good idea?
Re: Does anyone take real karate?
Like a clan? Try it. Doubt it'll work though.

<suomynona> It might kill you, but, that's the worst it'll do

sort of, i was thinking you could be in another clan, but you would just put the tag at the end...

i would like to make sure if people are interested before i try it though

I've been in Tae Kwon Do for about 4 years. I'm a black belt now.

Re: Does anyone take real karate?
Funnily enough, the martial arts you're all referring to (with the exception actually being karate) are NOT karate. In fact, in Tang Soo Do and Taek Won Do, the styles aren't even from the same country (and thus, are very different). Sorry to burst all your bubbles, but you can't really compare two different martial arts in terms of grades (such as Kenjutsu can't be compared to Judo, or Thai Boxing to Bojutsu).
Q = QUAKER OATS
