make rigging decapprizes banable
so i was fighting for that 100k decaprize i left on how tired i was and what i heard was clockworkmonkey and cul <-something rigged the 100k by 1 of them ripping there own head of.

what i think should be added
it being bannable to ripe your own head off to split a decapprize high decapprize

what the screenshot has to have is the decapprize amount and the said person ripping their head off

possible have a confession

(the banning time matters how much the tc is )
im a (shadow) guy in a clan called [shadow]

Fear, I might would agree if it was particularly difficult to pinpoint people who blatantly rig the pots, but it's not hard at all. Moderating it is as easy as watching a replay and glancing at the transaction history of the accounts involved. This should be a commonsense rule, both to follow and enforce. Why should this sort of blatant absence of respect for the Toribash community be allowed to subsist? The only people who would defend the rules the way they are now, are the same people who benefit from there not being any moderation on this in the first damn place.

And I'm not one much for conspiracy theories, but two of the times I've witnessed a decap prize get rigged, a moderator/admin got handsomely rewarded out of the earned TC. This sort of comradery between those who rig and those who enforce rules should be investigated; short of doing that, at least close the loophole that is allowing for this to occur.

This sort of issue is only going to grow in attention now that the admins have publicly announced it as a legit course of action. Fear, your argument that you should only have decap prizes on a private server is irrelevant as well. It would not be hard for those who rig the prizes to both decapitate and disqualify in the same turn. There is nothing short of an intervention from a GM or admin that is going to stop this problem.

I can only hope more people show up to support this effort as well.
Supported. Allowing decap rigs encourages the init2winit mentality, which is the most ugly part of toribash to new players: that those at the top of the skill chain have no integrity. It chases away the martial arts fans who join the toribash community in hopes of finding the same sort of moral values present as in the martial arts we attempt to emulate in various mods. If these sort of exploits are allowed to continue, I suggest removing bushido, aikido, wushu, pretty much every mod based off or named after a real martial art, as allowing people to play them in such a way is very insulting to those martial arts.
hmmm hard case. i personaly think people who take out the fun of the game for other players, intendedly should be bannable. such as rigging, running..... cant think of any more reasons atm.
i personaly have no problem if (like happened yesterday) someone trys to take out a decapprize of a low ammount(5k or something like that) before it goes to oblivion due to server reset (if this still is the case-or do decapprizes stay meanwhile? dunno). but if a decapprize of such high amount, put in by many in a community efford to have some fun , is simply rigged away out of pure greedyness, .... well i dont want people like this arround me , nor do many others as i understand. makes me support the idea of mods using commonsense at all, and i bet no other player who plays this game for fun would doubt their desicion IF someone gets banned for just beeing an asshole all day long.
Sup, so we are working on a rule for this which will be released shortly.
I'm personally in agreement with Fear, decap prizes should be something done with friends or as an event, not in a public environment whereby you're putting the money there to be taken.
Some of the reasoning in this thread is pretty dodgy, but the principal is right and we're doing something about it, rest assured.

Just getting some more opinions on the proposal then we can launch the rule and it'll take effect from then on
She/They

Yeah, I only don't like erthtkv2 because of the mod's name. Make it "tkv2," and the mod will instantly become more popular. This is a valid reason as the name of the mod is still an important feature that no one seems to have yet discussed.
