As you've critiqued me som many times, I feel it's just natural that I return the favour.

Of course, I'm not the best criticizer so don't expect anything great, this is just my opinion.

About the mask, I think that the two middle edges would've looked better/cleaner if they were rounded off, like this:



Just the middle ones, as the outer ones create such nice depth. Love the design.

The mask also contains a bunch of tribal/flame like shapes, which I think is a good addition to it.
Gives this splash effect since everything is grey and really stands out and gives the mask character.
But I think the linework (as you critiqued me at earlier, on a piece, thank you! It turned out great) is a bit sloppy. Of course, it's harder because of the mapping... But would look better if the lines were cleaner.

Edit: I also don't think the grey lines within the "flame" shapes look good, they're kind of annoying to the eye.

Don't think I have more for you, will keep an eye on this eyecandy. Great job! ^^

this is because it lacks the perspective it needs. the shaded border makes you think that the mask is bending inside, which naturally makes the red decals go inside aswell or "distort" if you can call that.

seriously alpha don't be lazy and fix the red decals for a better head

Well you could fill that space with , something like another metalic part joining up with the mask , but this metal is removable so it has a different colour. Like the gladiators had( or not dunno if it is real) but the viking god goldish things around the eye part of their helmets.

If you'd have read my previous comments you would've know that the design on the mask was something I did late in the night and I already agreed to change that as a final step of finishing the head ;]
Same goes with the eyes, I've already stated that there's going to be some sort of eye-type in the black opening. That's a small detail as well so that'll come later on.

I might curve the middle piece, I've already shaded it like it's a round piece so it only makes sense that it's round, right? Haha!

Well, the dark thing is that because of falling I couldn't reach my destination because I couldn't bike anymore. So unfortunately there's no picture..

I can tell that before I fell I made the shading a bit more dramatic and I've worked on the top piece. Might make a preview for you guys but it's nothing special yet.
