The plane sent out ping signals hours after everything else shut down, but pings according to the stories don't tell location, which is total bullshit.

I'm telling you, the U.N. knows exactly what happened.

If they ever find a wreck, they can just find the IFF transmitter and see if they were trying to transmit 4X, which would indicate a hijacking occuring (If the pilot pressed that button, hopefully). If it wasn't a hijacking, then 7600/7700 would be transmitting and would indicate loss of comms and general emergency...

As of now we know that the pilots changed something in the computer to make the plane change course, this had to have been done by a pilot because they're the only ones that know how. As for the who Iranian guys with stolen passports, they were going to Germany to seek refuge from Iran, when they landed at the end of the first leg of the flight, one of their moms called to make sure they landed safely. My dad the other day brought up that a talk show host had an interesting view on this which is the following: This plane has the ability to go anywhere undetected right now, and my theory is that they've killed all of the passengers and are outfitting the plane with bombs, camouflage, the whole 9 yards. And then they're going to take another plane's frequency and go attack some world staple completely unseen.

I found this one quite interesting because it could very well be true, the fact that the planes computing system was changed by the pilots to go off course, the fact that it was a flight this large scale, no one of the 200 whatever flight has a phone that works apparently, and this plane can go literally anywhere without a problem is quite interesting to think about.

Okay, let's say it wasn't hijacked or anything like that. If the plane malfunctioned and they tried to turn to keep balance or anything like that it could have not worked. And if it stopped working and plummeted straight towards the ocean it would disintegrate and the rest would sink.

The media changes the story every day, I can't tell whats real anymore with it.

My best guess is that something happened with the engine and it crashed.

What the hell is with all these conspiracy theories? I sincerely hope at least some people realize how ludicrous every single one of them sound.

One, when a plane crashes, the plane breaks apart. Several parts on the plane float, and for very long times at that. It would not just "disappear" into the ocean.

Two, there are several million stolen passports out in the world, and odds are they are used frequently for reasons other than "terrorism". International travel is impossible without a passport, and people who are desperate to leave a country will use whatever they can to do it.

Three, why the literal fuck would anybody draw THIS much attention to themselves to load up a plane and bomb someplace? Seriously, it's not hard to get a small plane and load it up with explosives and do the same damage as a jetliner loaded with explosives. In fact, it's much easier to do it with a smaller plane, and attracts significantly less attention.


Seriously people, the simplest answer is usually right one. It's crashed and they haven't found the wreckage yet. Besides, the most plausible comspiracy is that the Malaysian government is involved and hiding something behind it. And yet nobody has even touched that conspiracy. They've been remarkably secretive about this search and have already withheld some information about the disappearance.

I see nothing wrong with proposing that illegal actions caused the plane to vanish. Crimes happen all the time. Just 'cause it'd be a crime of greater significance does not make it less likely. Neither does calling it a conspiracy theory make it lose credibility. Conspiracies exist, and conspiracy theories sometimes are correct.

These "conspiracys" you are talking about are cover-ups for what really happened. A plane with passengers can not survive how ever long this has been going on for, with lack of food and stuff like that. I personally think that the plane was hijacked brought to a foreign country and held the passengers as captives. As you can tell about the U.S, we don't negoitate, so probally, they executed the passengers and I am most definate that this a big cover up. Just think about it, media is the only source and the media can TOTALLY flip the story, plus look at our government, so many secrets and lies. That is my view point on that, feel free to add to it or take away

More importantly, no evidence has been presented to support the conspiracies other than a sense of paranoia and misinformation. Seriously, fly it to Iran without it getting detected? It would fly right over an area America is occupying. It's entirely possible that an alien civilization beamed the entire airplane away, or a black hole opened for a brief moment and swallowed the entire plane, but the odds are so minuscule that discussing the mere possibility of it having occurred is borderline ridiculous.

If we don't require at least SOME basis in at least logical thinking, then I might as well just flood the thread with theories of an army of molemen rising from the depths of the earth with their Mega Graviton Beam made entirely out of recycled floppy disks that have CIA cover up files on them and they used it to bring down a small meteorite to destroy the plane so they could salvage the parts of the plane to finish building mecha-Hitler and start the First Galactic Space war with their arch-rivals, the Intergalactic Federation of Goat People. After all, it's POSSIBLE, and it MAY be right, so we might as well waste our time discussing it.


I'm pointing out that conspiracy theories are dumb, and I posted one with "evidence", yet it's still a very dumb theory. I'm not saying it's what I believe, I'm just saying that at the very least pick theories that have at least SOME evidence to support it, rather than just paranoia.


There were two Americans on that plane. TWO. Would they execute over 50 Malaysians, and over 100 Chinese citizens because America refused to negotiate for TWO Americans? Plus, America is more than willing to negotiate, so long as the terms of the negotiation are not ridiculous. We do prisoner trade offs all the time. And dead captives have no value. Nobody executes hostages unless they believe a) the hostage is going to be rescued, or b) the demands aren't met. In the case of b) they execute a few to make a point and put pressure. Mass execution defeats the purpose of bartering. And if they DID execute all the passengers, this would give a perfect reason for America to declare war or give condemnation. Why would the American government not mention that this occurred if they suspect the passengers are dead? Why would they not instantly mention this to the entire international community? To support your conspiracy, you need to prop it up with an even more ridiculous one.

Do you realize how improbable and impractical your theory sounds when you bother to actually look at circumstance and use a minimal amount of common sense?
