Nabi *Duality* Replay Competition Week 1: Stubbin' and Clubbin'
What is this?
The Duality Replay competitions will feature two judges and two objectives. There will be one every week, and there will be a twist in all of the competitions.
Description:
You will create 2 or 3 player replays where you first remove an appendage from Uke, then decap the either Uke with that appendage. The move should be stylish, yet also brutal, and should be appealing to watch.
Requirements:
* Length is a maximum of 1000 frames.
* The replay must consist of removing an appendage from Uke and then decapping him or the second uke if you wish to do a three player replay.. Boom hits are OK while extra hits resulting in dismembers are not.
* No symmetrical moves (to make judging easier). This way we'll know that the replay is at least somewhat skilled.
* No hacking replays
* Maximum of 3 replays
* Mod must either be default.tbm, or sambo.tbm. No other mods will be accepted.
* Dismember Threshold is at a minimum of 100
* Engage Height must be 0
* The position of the two or three players is up to you
* You may only move tori's joints
* Use
Juntalis' 3 player match generator or change the values of a preexisting 1v1v1 match. Sadly the brotherhood's site is down and I could find their lua version anywhere else.
Judging:
Judging will be handled by JDawg and I.
Replays will be judged upon:
1. Did you actually fulfill the requirements?
2. Style (?/50)
3. Brutality (?/50)
4. Total (?/100)
We will rate every replay and then average our scores at the very end so you can see how your replays fared against the competition. We will also post a few comments on each replay and add suggestions to help you get better in the future.
We will be keeping a running tally of everyone's best scores. If you manage to get more points than everyone else after the 10th competition, you will win the grand prize.
The points out of 100 will determine places. Draws will result in a re-review of the designated replays. And the judges will decide which replay they found more appealing. If the judges disagree... Let's just hope it doesn't come to that.
Prizes:
1st Place: 25k
2nd Place: 15k
3rd Place: 10k
Deadline:
August 17th, at 01:00 GMT
NOTICE
I changed the requirements a bit to allow more freedom and by extension, awesomeness.
