Now I'm going to have to disagree with you Moonshake, Fl Studio has it's issues and had it's benefits. Fl Studio makes Melody creation really easy and it also is okay with editing. Problems I had with it was the fact that it's recording software was garbage compared to other DAWs. Mastering in FL Studio is also annoying. stuff gets lost and side-chaining is a nightmare. I love fruity loops but I feel that it's just to far unorganized for me.
I'm not trying to get off topic. From my personal experience and from what my sound engineering friends will agree that Fl Studio just isn't best. Even Logic isn't the best but it's a great recording DAW as well as sound designing DAW. It's cheap and it works very very well. A program called Pro tools is the music industries standard for a DAW. Every DAW has it's flaws.
Back on topic,
Here's the link for the VEC packs. ReFX is one of my favorite companies <3

Fl Studio is good for beginners because it's so widely used that there are thousends of tutorials to watch and learn how music is made. Moving on to different DAWs is good because you learn what you can and can't do. Since I moved to Logic I've been able to work so quickly and I wouldn't of been able to learn it as fast as I did if I didn't use Fruity loops.
Top DAWs I suggest looking into is:
- Logic Pro (Mac Only)
- Ableton Live (Mac/PC)
- Cubase (Mac/PC)
- Pro Tools 11 (Mac) Possibly windows... idk
