hi. great job with the video, but i too myself can't say that you've improved.
i think what dscigs and sly are trying to say rather aggressively is that your videos are great, you really can edit, it's just that you are applying the exact same concept to each of your videos. i would love to say that you have improved, but by doing the same thing each time you edit isnt going to get you anywhere. to me, the fun behind editing is learning and experiencing different styles by being adventurous, not sticking within your comfort zone and just denying other cnc that people are giving you. i hope you see it the same way as well.
an excellent example of this would be sly, as he goes out of his way to try different styles of editing and continually works hard to produce interesting content that will keep his subscribers hooked onto his channel. yes, each video of his does have the same concept applied to it, but it's the small tweaks like switching up the mood, or maybe even trying different effects. these small things can make large impacts to the video.
i like the fact that you did try something different with the slow-mo thingo you had going at the beginning of the vid, and the sound overlays that you added in vegas, however it is important that you do pay attention to the feedback that you're receiving from your peers. the comments that dscigs made about the sound effects doing too loud and the screen pumps being so intense that it detracts from the video are excellent points, and i think you really should consider them before shaking them off.
now to my cnc: like i mentioned above, i like the fact that you've added sounds and tried something different, but you have indeed made them a touch too loud. screenpumps were also too intense, maybe you should do your pan/crop in ae c: i can teach you the basics if you'd like.
just remember: don't brush things off so easily. take notice of each and every comment, and even though that they might sound like an ass, take in the good points and apply them to your next video
sorry for the wall of text C: good luck!
