If your WIFI gear isn't supported by *nix then go down the NDISwrapper route. That'll let you use a Windows driver and it works incredibly well.

Prod google for info on how to get it working.

i have come to the fact that my broadcom wireless network adapter is not supported by this distro
can you explain your method skul?

Guy talks through installing & setting up Slax NDISwrapper in the replies there. It should be no different on any Slax based distro.

Slax modules activate on boot so long as it can find them in the correct directory.

ok i was almost done...
installed ndiswrapper and also tried manually installing linux drivers for my wireless adapter but both end at the same result when i do:-

make
make install

and this is the error:-

install: cannot stat 'wl.ko': no such file or directory
make: *** [install] error 1

what can i do now?

Have you already built the broadcom kernel?

i just untarred the tar file and then did make and make install
