I'd say move the part of the spear that's in front of his legs, behind his legs, that way he doesn't look like he's holding the spare in front of him sideways =P

Edit: ooh i see it now.. the way you positioned tori makes it look like he's holding the spear the wrong way, since the part of the hand facing us is the under side of his hand.
