It's not my spam filters. I get plenty of spam, and I've set up Thunderbird so it dosn't delete any of it, just puts it in a junk folder. I've not received any e-mails since registering; save a few test e-mails I've sent to myself from my 2nd e-mail address for testing purposes.

By way of introduction; My currenty employment has me doing IT support; and e-mail (and especially Outlook ) problems are no stranger to me. I do appreciate the help thus far though; perhaps I'll PM hampa in a bit.

Mine took about 18 hours or so. I wouldn't worry too much.

And yeah like everyone said, you won't get bored of it quickly. Once you register, there's so much to do (collect bloods, make heads, gather belts, get yourself ranked, etc.). Being able to play jousting online is worth it alone.
