you tried /dl kumipa /lp 0 kumipa ?

I mean you have to tick that option "effects always on" and apply, even if you have all activated in "advanced" section. It worked for me and for some other guys that had your same problem.

just try the above in that order, when in freeplay. Also screenshot your settings for the game so we can see what you do and don't have enabled.

Also more importantly, which version of the game are you running? Because if you are using a version earlier than 4.5 (which I believe is when 3d items were added / viewable), then they can't be viewed. So you should probably get the steam version or latest download from the site.

I didn't know there was another more current version, the more likely it is that

Just download the steam version, or download the standalone version from here on the forum. Most of the time it is due to not having the most updated client, so I was wondering whether that was the case.
