Option to only be able to grab with one hand
When me and Icky were trying out a TKfrac mod, it was really stalematey... We thought that if there was a way to only allow a player to grab with 1 hand at a time (so they can swap grips but not grip with both at once), it would be a lot less stalematey.

Is this possible at all?
one time i had a hair deep in my urethra and when i pulled it out it felt kinda good ~fudgiebalz 2020

what you suggest is a workaround for doublegrab issue, the solution is ball axis grabs (6DOF rotation) and breakable grabs to be implemented.

Wouldn't only being able to grab with one hand at a time be easier to implement though?

This can be a very bad idea, yet also a very good idea. I admire the premise of the idea, however there are many people who rely on grabbing with both hands to accomplish feats such as freerunning or replay making.
I suggest that there be a checkbox in the gamerules option similar to disqualification, fracture and dismemberment that enables and disables one-handed grabbing.

Perhaps this is a good compromise between fixing the problem completely and doing nothing at all about it for the coders, at least until the actual grabbing mechanic itself is fixed like you described.

Unsure on the 6DOF grab thing (TB's wonky physics reasons etc), grab breaking however is something that should've been added long ago.

TBH I can't see why this shouldn't be considered as a modding option or similar, and it could happily co-exist with the above - which if added should really be modding options too.

wonky tb physics will actually benefit from 6dof, as there will be way less deformation on body which we have as the result of solid line connection.

To be clear, this suggestion was always intended to be an option, I'm not saying that nobody should be able to grab with 2 hands in any mod, I just think some mods could be made more interesting with this option.

Hmm, I hadn't thought of that, perhaps that could work too. I think either of these modding options could improve mods like tkfrac

Bump, this idea needs to get implemented.

This would make striking mods easier without people running such as rkmma where there is no grab
