If you mean McAfee then I fear for your soul (its the bane of everything), I use Windows Defender since it actually works, you should have it since you have Windows 8/8.1. Ccleaner I have never used so I will give it a pass.

If you mean turn off the firewall, then don't do that at all. That's the only thing protecting your computer from getting gangbanged by the internet and every virus on there that wants your computers ass.
As for the antivirus, it could be a possibility but dont just in case.
I would suggest trying a different browser, since I believe you are using chrome. Try Firefox and see if that works for you. (Also since I think you are using Windows 8/8.1 like myself, if its chrome having issues with specific pages i could probably help you on that as well)

If you uninstall your anti-virus you'll get a message saying Turn on windows Firewall if it dosn't turn on auto and then a notification to turn on window defender and update it
