Back in the day, if someone cnc'd my thread, I'd normally cnc them back. In my opinion, it's the moral, and least you can do for them.

But when I cnc people, they normally just say thanks.

I tried putting my replay thread in my signature and ask them to see my signature, but that's still against the rules

So I have to waste my entire signature just to ask a measely task of coming by my replay thread and quickly cnc, which can be done in 5 minutes, which I went out of my way and did the same thing.

My request is to eleviate the rule of not being able to advertise your replay thread, or atleast edit it so you can post your replay thread as long as it contains a reasonable form of cnc. I'm not saying they have to cnc back, but it's nice to share threads so one can cnc another and vice versa. Me and jclark (now inactive) linked our replay threads and always gave cnc if the latter cnc'd

I also don't see why you would ban advertising replay threads.
