Secret Santa 2024
please do me a favor and work on your velocity, jesus.
you need to work on these basic things before working on bells and whistles, overlays, effects, etc.
it's been over 3 years and you still haven't developed your own style of editing. you've strayed away from making kung fu movies or whatever, and now they're just a mess.

look at some old videos, that's what you're going for. look at those who did the whole "montage" thing right like moop, skulfuk, warcry, muffindo, macperfect, or tyme who set the bar for the time period, which imo you still fall below in terms of even the basics of putting a video together. what's the point in learning how to use cool overlays and using effects with your sync if you can't even use velocity or pan/crop to make a video fit a song you choose?

you can look into newer videos for what i mean on fitting the song with flow, like sly, skip, humper, emdicox, etc.

tl;dr: get some structure on what you're doing, nothing really goes well together.

If you are talking about the parkours part, it is already fixed. Big words for little things.

I already noticed that the velocity was wrong in some parts and some effects are missing, but this time I work differently on my video : I first do replays, then fix things.

I disagree with that, but yeah, it is your opinion, thanks to share it.

I think the final version has some render issues.
Please look it through and if you find it too,
Then you should re-render it.

Its in the replay where Jisse played soccer with himself.

no. i'm talking about the whole thing. your flashes aren't keyframed, and i didn't say effects are missing. you can't NOT work on replays first, you have to record it. what i meant was your velocity is always constant and doesn't change at all, it doesn't match the song and there isn't a whole lot of sync where there really could be.

maybe it's because your english is lacking that you can't grasp the point i'm trying to make in any video i talk about, and people tell me not to cnc because you don't understand

I'm not sure to understand everything, because as you said my english suck, but I think it is my style, you love it or not, but it is. I don't focus on effects on every hits during the music but the general mood. In this case "Let It Die", I let it die. Did you seen it ? Did you felt it ?

My flashes aren't keyframed ? Really, I don't understand that point and the rest, could you explain it to me ? In general, each of my effects are done frames by frames.

i'll try to get my point across as simple as i can so you can understand it all, i can clarify anything you don't understand

it's not about if i LIKE your style or not, that's not the case at all. clearly we all liked your "movies" with martial arts and sound effects you did before. that's a style you did well.

this style after you stopped using sounds and started editing more is what isn't DONE well. it's not that it's a BAD style.
my original post was that the video didn't really match the song, and i think it's because you tried to make it fit with the title of the song/video rather than what it sounds like.

around 1:20 it's very dynamic, and the points where sync are very clear and you know that because the sync is there, but there isn't something that makes it really pop out like it should during those two hits in that particular replay. better chosen effects will make up for the under-editing that you're looking for. emphasis on how under-editing isn't a bad thing.

when i say your flashes aren't keyframed, i mean there is no animation to them. i use the exact same flashes in most of my videos, i think they look nice. the way i use them is fade a white solid color on a layer set to "add" and fade it in and out. you can also keyframe the "brightness" effect by clicking animate when adding it to a clip, if that's what you're using.

when i say "style", look at the different videos in my above post, each person chooses effects, keyframes their cameras, chooses songs, moods, panning/cropping, etc in their own way. i think what you've been making isn't personalized enough to be called "your" style, and looks too basic.

hopefully i made more sense this time
