HI HI GUYS! I'm gonna follow up from Mr Forger above me
On paper it's kinda possible, but at the same time it isn't. Basically most the 3D items are textured rather than flat shaded, directly recolouring them isn't really possible in the sense you'd expect with Toribash.
However there is the option for objects to have no texture and to be a single flat colour. That's manually set by whoever forges it, and ATM it's not something that can be deliberately changed by users (although there was a spell where hair colour items changed the colour of them)
So there's 2 options you can chase with them, though to be honest I really can't see either happening:
1. The forgers make recoloured versions of each item to match the current TB colours - which will mean them having to re-texture
EVERYTHING OVER 80 TIMES. Caps cos yay vodka an daded emphasis on how big of a task it would be! For obvious reasons that's a pretty unreasonable thing to ask of them - they're just volunteers like 99% of the game's staff and that's a shocking amount of work to ask of them.
2. Provide a UV template for each item and allow people to upload textures themselves... That would be great, and it follows the Toribash tradition of customizing cosmetic things. It's a far better solution than #1, however drive space. Just that. You'd be surprised how quickly a server's drive can be filled - they're not infinite y'know. Add the increased server bandwith usage and you're hitting something that would be awesome, but way beyond hampa's wallet.
So sadly for now you're stuck with what's made.
give hampa all your moneis if you really want this sort of thing
