The strongest classes would be Sorceress, Amazon & Paladin. In that order.
Had a max-geared lvl 90 Hammerdin until Blizzard felt like wiping every character if they hadn't been logged on for 90 days.
Although Diablo 2 was a great game, I've come to see it as outdated by now. It has a lot of flaws and a more repetetive game is a tough find on the market.

played a bowazon and a werewolf druid through all 3 difficulties a couple months back, it's strange that i'm forgetting stuff about the game again though
