Regardless of that, America isn't the greatest place by far. And yes, our troops need to get the hell out of other people's buisness. Sending medical personnel is one thing, but sending our own troops somewhere to fight other people is pretty dumb in my opinion.

That was so wrong it made me cry weoo. China currently has the largest army.

The reason we send other troops we only help us in the future. If we help countries rich in oil, that is a plus for us.
We're in the Middle East for oil. We're not in there because we feel we have some moral obligation to 'protect' anyone. The sooner we move away from oil dependence, the sooner we can leave the area and break our entangling alliances with countries like Saudi Arabia. It's all about energy - if we weren't dependent on the Middle East for oil then we wouldn't give a fuck about it, and they wouldn't give a fuck about us. The less you involve yourself with something, the less likely it is to affect you.

Just because you Google'd "who has the biggest military" and china pops up, doesn't mean Wikipedia is correct.

I've gone onto multiple websites, and it seems they can't decide on the exact number between America and China. China may have a lot of people, but they're basically a 3rd world country. Even though they're categorized as a 2nd world country.

Hurray for your outdated sources.

It's obvious China has the more massive, and well trained military.

Why is it obvious? Can't you give reasoning to as why? Just because they have more people in the country doesn't mean anything.

edit: since you obviously don't, I looked up a non outdated source. This was updated yesterday.

^ This. Honestly if the American public saw what Saudi Arabia was actually like they wouldn't want anything to do with it. But as Ele was saying it's entirely because of the oil industry. It's always been about money (at least for the middle east).

As for the "biggest army" honestly numbers of soldiers mean nothing if they aren't trained as well. What really matters is what type of technology they are using, you can have a smaller and more efficient army that could defeat a larger less sophisticated one. While I'm no historian the Battle of Thermopylae is a great example of what I'm trying to get across. The spartans were better equipped and faced a much larger army.
As I was saying when it didn't matter about the number of people in the forces.

America was more scary when Reagen was still president. He wasn't scared to say "You threaten us, we won't hesitate to kill you."

Money is the cause of all of humanity's problems.

But dont worry about that, just keep paying your taxes and talking about all the problems caused by the wars those taxes fund.

And dont think for a moment that this is about anything but whats best for the people.

We need that oil more than "they" need that oil.

Our typical governmental propaganda ensures that we will keep following the same old routine that history has ever told us about.

Its not unique to america, and this kind of crap has been going on since ancient egypt. its nothing new, just a different era and different technology.

Actually If we had stuck to how Gorge Washington had wanted the country to turn out, we would never have been involved with any foreign affairs. When he stepped down from office, He literally said that we should never do 3 things as a country: Become an Empire (to populate other countries with either force or diplomacy such as collecting more states than what we actually needed or had for example: Alaska, Hawaii, Texas, New Mexico... much of the western U.S, This also includes Sending forces to other countries either for war or to keep peace.), Get Involved with foreign affairs (this includes Embassies, And other buildings for foreign meetings (the World Trade Center would have been fine would have not caused any problems had it not been destroyed intact it would have Helped us stay out of trouble with other countries), and Don't create Political Parties (this was our biggest mistake ever made as we now work divided to reach goals rather than together as one country). If we had never done these things we, and the rest of the world likely would be much better off with things.

I think America should stop interfering, I know intentions are sometimesish good, but just look at Vietnam, Iraq things like that... If I was America I would be putting more time and effort into getting rid of everyone's guns, trying to nail the KKK and Divert a Gay Orgy minivan into Westboro baptist church.
