I would do neither. This is just a case of choosing to be offended.

there isn't necessarily a "choice of being offended."

if someone is treated a certain way, they are more accepting of how they were treated. if a child is called a fatass all the time by their parents or peers, they're probably going to be less bothered by it later in life due to already experiencing it. if someone makes poor decisions, they are going to be probably less offended if you call them stupid than someone who seldom makes mistakes.. hyde has several key points, like if someone was offended by you calling them immature. it's pretty ridiculous to have the usage of calling anyone immature ban-able.

it comes down to this... If you can go on the internet and surf forums you HAVE to understand that the Internet can be a dark and messed up place, and if you think there are people sitting there and deleting the bad stuff, YOU ARE FUCKING DUMB, so I say deal with it because you know what's there and what there can be . If people are gonna cry and whine let them. All a moderator can do is ban them(toribash at least), but in general if you get upset Because somebody called you a mean name you really need to go in a corner,cry, and watch kids shows because you must be the most sheltered person ever.

There is a difference between when you know someone and you insult them and a random person friends don't usually say "every video you put time into making is shit compared to this. You surround yourself with people who support you and encourage you not the opposite I might have deleted you as well anyone with self respect and pride in their art would have unfriened you.
Toribash currently runs on a system similar to 1st grade. this member said a no-no word better tell a gm its ruining my gameplay experience. If you ask first graders why they tell when someone says a no-no word u don't think they will say "because I was offended" in most situations it's the same in toribash people report people just because. However since you spend the majority of time in toribash waiting to play the chat becomes a very big component unlike most games where that chat doesn't matter if someone types the n word no o e cares in tb however people are more likely to give a fuck considering they have nothing better to do
I don't think the chat should be free rain but I also don't think people should report just for seeing the n word I mean honestly its not ban worthy but its a no-no word and is offensive because they say so. noob is a slur as well but I can say that all I want. Either way if a game bans a word people are going to say it more because it being banned gives it more power words are just words untill you restrict what people can say or maybe they want to make the witch hunting staff have to click a few buttons
