Not as easy going as I thought. Almost got wiped, all pokemon at under 10 hp Boobie even at 1. No potions, found and used an escape rope. Went in again and got throught.
Chose the Dome fossil.

First Thing I did was fight misty, really easy with boobie, I lost machinegun in the waves tho, rip machinegun it was fun :C
I only cried a Little okay :C
Got a sandshrew named tusken as replacement.
Time to grind before facing the Bridge.

After the fight with my rival I decided to go to to bills house and get the S.S Anne ticket, fought all the trainers along the way , caught a weedle and managed to get it to evolve into beedrill but shortly after it died to a random crit.
RIP stabby the beedrill.
After I got the ticket I decided to go to Vermillion city.

On the way to vermillion I caught 2 pidgeys but I placed one of them in the box and evolved the other one. Caught a diglet at diglet cave and a sandshrew in the route to the right of vermillion. After that I went into the SS Anne and fought my rival, unfortunately he rekt my diglet.
RIP peekaboo the diglet ;-;
Now Im training up my sandshrew to fight Lt. Surge beacuse all my other pokemon are weak to electric types D:
Before I do that though I went back to defeat misty, it was a pretty easy fight

I was training my sandshrew no problem, fighting random wild pokemon among them were bellsprout but they never used a grass type attack so I thought I was safe fighting them too, but I was wrong. My sandshrew was at level 16 and I encountered a bellsprout, it used vine whip, it was a crit, sandshrew died

Now Im left with no pokemon that is resistant to electric attacks, only those that are weak to them. I thought I was screwed but I trained up my wartortle to level 30 and just went in to fight the gym, traded one of my thousands of spearows for a farfetchd before so I had something that can use cut.
The fight wasnt as hard as I thought it would be, wartortle steam rolled through his first 2 pokemon and then 2 shot his raichu gg ez.

Made it to lavender town, nothing memorable happened, caught 2 more spearow on the way and couldnt catch anything in the cave since I accidentally KO'd the machop I first encountered.

Caught 2 more pidgey towards Celadon. In the city itself I got eevee and named it xylophone because Im not creative. Got a thunderstone and evolved it into a jolteon.
Defeated Erika only using my pidgeotto and now Im in the team rocket hideout.
Also my golbat tried to evolve but it stopped halfway through, anyone know why?
