Cool an eye. Hair is a bit too uniform for a ninja but whatever. Not much to say.

The black lines are just a rough sketch made so i can remember where everything is supposed to be.

Your head seems to be lacking shading and detail.

Then, add shading and detail..


I watch Vitiek's speedpaintings and I watch some "sycra" on youtube, it helped me make the textures look good. I suggest you watch some tutorials by sycra.

well im gonna take a look at the sycra tuts but there is not much places to shade on my head, as they are covered by the hair

Then make the hair look better. I used to use the free select tool & the blend tool to make shadows. I use a brush with 20 opacity to make the sketch. I made the hair at the front first, then, i used the PATHTOOL to make hair at one side. After making the hair at one side, i duplicated the layer then flipped it. : >

I'd like to see this mapped.

The only thing that sticks out to me is the hair. I like what you did, but the parting towards the top looks very scratchy and more unorganized. Smoothen that out and I think you'll be golden.
