haha, yeah right dude.. Although a high-end dual core processor will run marginally better than my Q6600 in most games, that really doesn't mean shit. No game, not even Crysis or Far Cry 2, can utilize 100% of two (or really even one) of my processing cores.. and I'm running at totally stock settings.

As it stands right now, this thing runs SUPER COOL.. sub 40 degree temperatures under stress. Prime95 doesn't even raise it much higher than that, and I have stock cooling. I could EASILY get it up past 3GHz without breaking a sweat.

Not only that, but in a few years, my Q6600 will outperform that E8500 as games start to take advantage of quad-core processors. I don't care what anyone says but my ~12GHz of usable processing power will beat the crap out of your ~6.3.

I'm happy with what I've got. xD

and as far as I can see, my 9800GTX was the best I could get for the price.

Unsure about the cooler..

I dont think you really need to buy a Brand new cooler unless you totally plan on overclocking and doing a bunch of shit to your PC.

I have a GTX 280 (Which btw fucking rocks) and I still use the stock cooler. It doesnt go over 50c when stressed or anything.

So far it looks cool though. Dont forget about RAM and case and any DVD drives. Shit like that hehe

If you can wait until Q1 of 2009, you should. A lot of new components are coming out.

fujitsu siemens amilo xi 2528, google it. It's what I'm using. Mine is a piece of shit atm, but that's just because I treated it like a slave. It's not top of the line but it's pretty good for its time.
