This is actually how it is currently. First offence is a month, 2nd 2-3 months, and so on.
From what duck said, I do believe people have the possibility to change. So to instant fuck them from the start seems kinda too harsh.

I bet over 90% of duel scammers are repeat offenders because they lose nothing.
They can only gain.
They can just create alts anyways, even if they are banned, so i dont see how this would be an "instant fuck"

My way or no way, totalatarian.
Users who repeatedly scam get added to the Zero Tolerance list and have their account banned for an extended period of time. In more extreme cases, accounts receive permanent bans, and those users are added to the Ban on Sight list.
We moderate under the assumption that people can change, and we bar those who can't from our community. I'd say this mindset has worked out well so far.
