I usually put hihat rolls before snare hits or right after it hits. But I reckon it should work too, depends on how it sounds with the other drums.

holy shit that song is crazy, the beat change was wildly unexpected honestly. I'll try something like it in the future. I also kind of want to have a producer tag lol, they seem to just add some personalization to things, thanks for sharing

You're going to want to get better samples. Those high hats are really bad. It's great that you're pumping out content, but you should try to focus on a specific genre. Try something challenging so you learn a new technique or something. I don't know your music taste but go for something. lol
