I too played back in 2006-2011. I randomly thought about Toribash a few months ago and was surprised to see that it was still going. I have said to myself many times now: Over the years searching for games and being involved in the gaming community for the last 10 years, I haven't seen a shred of evidence of this game. the question rather is, if its worth to advertise a 15 year old game, or wait for the expected new one.

Marketing a product is expensive, however just because this is a 15 year old game doesn't mean anything. Warframe was released in 2013 and they still dish out update trailers.
My suggestion is, do a community focused advertising effort. Produce properly source material, and fund a skilled editor.
