When i was about 14 or 15 i met a girl online who i got know really well over msn, and inevitably we eventually wanted to meet up. However both our sets of parents were obviously worried about their kids meeting strangers from the other end of the country and instantly said no, gutted. Apparently thanks my efforts to reassure them they mentioned my surname which my mums friend recognised, it turned out i knew them indirectly all along through my mum's friend. It was pretty impossible to go see her at first but thanks to a random conversation in another town between people id never met i got into a really good relationship, i was well chuffed!
