Sounds promising but 4th dan and over, I mean come one, the belt does not determine skill and I think you should recruit by their skill not their belt.

yeah, go by skill, especially if its just you recruiting. that means YOU know how good they are and can judge for yourself whether or not you think they are worthy. like houtz said, belt really doesn't mean squat.

yes those have been my points before. But sadly most of the toribash community does not think that. A lot of people judge things based on belts. Yes I know what the clan needs, we need a good reputation (high belts) and skill. Let's use [eVo] for example. Their minimum belt is 10th dan I believe, and they are no where near dying and lot's of people want to join them. I'm not taking this from them but I'm using broader views. I need to think of us and what the community thinks, so I think that if we set the minimum belt to at least 4th or 5th dan, people will think we are an elite clan and there's a good chance others may want to be with us as well.

On topic: Hay, I'm on the forums almost every day. Also, it is not true that the community judges the belt alone. Rutzor is really famous but no-one cares about his belt really.

Also, who gives a crap about what the community feels about our clan? As long as we are really nice people, we should be happy. We're not a srs bsns clan, after all. This is more a cozy clan.

OK9 no matter how much we don't like it... it's true. And if you guys don't want to see the clan go belly up then you may as well deal with my belt decision, cause I'm not changing it unless it means making the limit higher.
