For video editing, definitely watching Zack Snyder's style of directing and editing.
Not toribash, but I don't care. His slickness simply cannot be beaten.

Check the box 'No Sync'. It removes all lag and you can record at a specified framerate.

To be honest I never really looked around and explored the artists of the community I just learned how to do textures, and kept trying until it started looking good, but when I started looking around the forums it was Mrama who inspired me the most, and took me under his wing to start free hand drawing in textures, and drop the tribal paintbrush (however good I was at it) gimmick.

So thanks Mrama, you pwn. Look forward to learning more from you. =)

Wasn't trying to refer to his reputation or anything. He made textures at least two years ago, and I would say they are still among the best. He also made multiple avatars for the users on the forums and made some old banners and ads for toribash and all that stuff was great.

lol zaa, it was a joke, i know he made art way back when, love his stuff aswell. but personally i wouldnt say he inspired me.

I can't remember how I got into arts at the first point since it has been years ago. I had some PS break for the last 2 years though and it was MANtrain who got me into PS again.
He showed me tricks I didn't knew before and has always advice on how to improve my art. He enlightened the fire of enthusiasm in me again.
I'm always impressed when I see his art no matter if he has new textures, artwork or whatever. The quality is stunning.
I can't find words to describe how awesome he is.
He helped me improving my life in every aspect.
