thanks for the help but the roll back hasnt worked =[

here are two screen shots of what i can see in toribash
everything but the actual characters (blood, trails ect)

try typing /set default.inc

that helped me when i got that problem

Maybe try taking off shaders?

no luck with the default.inc

ohh but i can see without shaders, sheeesh that looks nasty
i'd still like to be able to use shaders coz this hurts my eyes

I think you will have to play without shaders for a while :/
Also, the default.inc shader isn't loaded automatically.
