Dont make the texture on fire. Just make the skull head. My head flame should be good enough.

the skull needs to end at a point, then the spine should start

I dont think it would look good on sphere.

if you really wanted to make it work, id add like the collar of the jacket up near the neck on the head here.

Also, this looks a little cartoony. id prefer a serious, almost evil looking ghostrider
