I ask myself and others when playing an MMO, why play it? I'm gonna get some new armour/weapon, YAY...
The problem with MMO's is that there isn't an ounce of originality, and the story doesn't progress.
How about paintballing? You don't die, but you can buy different ammo etc, camoflage, you play in arenas. You don't die though

how about a MMO in the age of the ROman Empire where you start of as an civilian and build your way up to General or up to an Gladiator. Would be extremely awesome. Or an MMORPG in the time of WWII. Just some few suggestion. Casue most MMO's are always around the middleages.
