God damn that's a good point. Why the hell are they calling it a monster anyways?

Ryu: A decaying animal can't just 'create' a virus, nor did Mexicans spread swine flu with a millennium-old technique. Viruses are nothing more than DNA surrounded by protein casings. That's it. They can't spontaneously be created, the only way for viruses to replicate is to infect living cells and mutate their DNA to multiply into more viral pathogens. As for your pig-floating idea, do you even begin to realize how ridiculous it is? The idea of throwing a dead body into the ocean and hoping it travels Northeast without somehow being affected by real-time currents or being devoured by marine life isn't just improbable, it's impossible.

Something tells me you're 12 or under, Ryukendo99.

Damn straight, then we could find them, figure out what benefit they can serve humans, and then hunt them to near extinction, though Im guessing that would'nt take long.

Seriously though, why the hell don't these people ever keep the carcass? I know its a big, smelly dead animal, but wrap it up, put it in the garage, and first thing in the morning call some city or state department of wildlife (In effing Mauntauk I'm sure they have a very nice one set up and ready to go.). Why do they always just take pictures or video and walk away, then release them on the world and expect everyone to believe something with no real evidence?

Actually this "monster" is a swine flu virus that bloated up to animal size because of the water. When you look at swine flu under a microscope, its millions of tiny beaked-pig beasts swimming and rolling around, fighting over food, and replicating. Now clearly this individual flu virus began swimming from mexico and gradually increased in size until it washed up on NY shore. In fact i bloat bacteria in my bathtub until its big enough to throw on the grill. Its quite practical.
Logic: i think what you said is maybe real and it may be a a old species like the Yeti
(and maybe a montauk monster or a Yeti is watching This forum)
