You can't compare music. No matter what evidence you have, because its opinionated and depends on taste.

That being said - I am a bigger fan of vai, but they are both amazing guitarists.

srsly tho guys, a good way to end this is to change the poll from "who is better" to "who do you like more".

EDIT: Also, I didn't mean to imply that Satch is wayy better than Vai or vice versa, I just wanted for it to be blatantly obvious that one is better than the other.

If you can't compare them, then contrast them...

Both are ridiculously skilled in a technical sense. Both make really lame music. Tie.

It's kinda true. They are excellent technical players, but musically uninspiring, imo. Proving that Difficult music=/=good music.
