If FTL travel is possible, what are its implications on our understanding of the universe, and on society in general, if it is developed to such a degree as to be incorporated into everyday life? For the purposes of this discussion it is assumed that FTL travel does not allow macroscopic objects, or causality-independent (paradox-causing) information to travel backwards in time.
