New short story is up on my blog. Actually, might as well make it triply redundant and link directly to it. This is sort of a first draft, but I think that it'll serve alright.
Most people know me as kind of a joker, but I have a serious side or six. I think it's hard to take a game where you can knock peoples' heads off and have them still tear off your limbs and beat you about the groin with them before a fractured knee voips through your elbows and smacks into the ground outside of the dojo seriously, but that doesn't mean I'm not a serious person underneath the thin veneer of total idiot.
With that in mind, I have a blog that I'm shamelessly advertising. It has all of my writing on it. Well, not ALL of it, but the vast majority of it can be found there.
I don't think I'm the best writer around. The vast majority of my works seem to have romance play out as a natural part of the plot (as opposed to say, Harlequin romance novels, wherein it is the single part of the plot). I guess if you want you can close your eyes for any mushy bits.

Go have a gander if that's your thing. Looking for the latest story? Well that can be found two places:
http://samoliver.wordpress.com/other-stories/
http://samoliver.wordpress.com/2013/...-the-farlands/
- Poem-styled short story about a beast and a nymph.
Personally recommended (more so than the others):
http://samoliver.wordpress.com/2013/...1-red-ribbons/
- Darkish fantasy with extreme elements of action and loss.
http://samoliver.wordpress.com/2012/...ver-and-steel/
- Feyfolk fantasy with elements of romance, othergenderedness and elvish treachery.
http://samoliver.wordpress.com/2013/...enge-6-shadow/
- Modern-like fantasy with elements of romance, heavy suspense, sorcery and escape.
Also do take a gander at some of the poems I have up, if that's more your style. The stories can be lengthy, and it might be that they're a little too long for your taste.
Whatever you find that fits your fancy, enjoy!
