Hey man.
It's a familiar situation to me. I kinda used to be that way too.
It's OK to critic: means that you have a point of view, thoughts of your own and you're not afraid to expose them. But there's boundaries that we have to set to this.
Hey... don't take me wrong. Not saying that you need to do this or that... just speaking what I learned with my experience.
People that tend to be the 'hyper critic' kind it's when they feel that most part of the things in the world are wrong. If a thing just doesn't tickle the person's fancy then the result it's going to be a critic or hate towards the object.
The problem here is... hate just eats a person away. Hate will make you suffer various types of pain and feelings if you don't bitch slap it right in the face and say: 'Hey! Fuck off, ok? Get away from me."
There's so much wonderful things in the world, so much beauty that a person sometimes doesn't know about, experiences you've never done. There's also the other side: the bad things.
But a person can't just look to the downside of things... yes, you have to know them for future awareness. But that's it... the rest are good things that you have and need to enjoy and appreciate.
Ignore who doesn't deserve any attention by your part. Really... don't bother with them. Avoid any fights if you can... they never brought any good for anyone. I guess it's a common saying: 'if you don't have anything good to say, then don't say it all'. I mean, you can always give your honest opinion if a friend asks you if that shirt matches the color of his/her eyes (for example).
Love the person that you care for and appreciate to be with. That can be your friends, your family, everyone that makes you feel that person will help you to grow as a better person for the future as you can help them as well.
And laugh... just laugh your ass out. It's the one of the good remedies to fix the bad moods and crap like that.
Everything will turn better if you do those simple things.
And you'll make it... things can be bad now but they'll turn good eventually. You just need to keep your head up and look straight forward with a positive attitude. :]
