liaxo another thing that can go wrong is faulty hardware

my mobo's network adaptor is fucked up and I had to buy a whole new one (which imo the price for it was worth a hell of a lot more than taking my entire PC apart to put in a new mobo, free or not)

I've taken that into consideration, and it is sometimes encouraged to start up the PC at least once before you watercool it, but I've chosen against it. I feel there is a higher chance of me fucking up (particulary in regards to removing the CPU and TIM from the socket, and replacing it into the CPU-waterblock) than the hardware being faulty.

I'm really fucked if the hardware is faulty, though lol xD

I was lucky enough that all my stuff works except for the on-board network adapter, was easily able to buy a separate one
