PLay with more people, battle of teams...

It would involve multiple small squares/circles/dojos as "mats", spread apart, where in each one, two players would go up against one another. If you are to land outside of the area you were placed in (including another mat) you would be eliminated. It could also function as a ladder; the victorious players would move on to the "next round", where it would continue up until there are two left, where they could fight to the death.

Another idea that I made, derived by the extra people battling at once, is team battles. Team battles, as you'd expect, involves 4+ players, equal amounts on each team, pitting against one another. Once all players on a single team are eliminated, or the time runs out, the team with the remaining players (or more points) would be victorious.

One final idea I have is "multi-battles". It involves 3 - 4 players, all against one another. This one could lead up to great chaos, and, other than the extra players, it would function as a normal battle. It could also be used together with the idea of simultaneous battles and/or team battles.

Maybe eventually we'll see it but most not some time soon.

if he would like to do it for 30 players, might as well make a room where you can "run" to servers and play on them, (Like a blue belt can simply walk up onto a semipro server and go to the server)

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

multiway combat
I know you have probably already had this asked and stuff or it has been looked into already but have you ever thought about making it more than just a 1 on 1 situation E.g. free for all. 2v2 that sort of thing.
This would make the game much more popular that it already is and players could have a lot more fun tag teaming others and stuff.

Most people cant run toribash as is
You need a tank of a computer to do this

Too much coding, I think. BUT its possible. Like others say, you need a beefy computer to run something like that.

i think 2v2 or more should be implemented as this would spice up toribash even more, for the people with the PCs that couldnt handle it. This shouldnt be held back because some people cant run toribash smoothly thats like me saying i cant afford boosters so i shouldnt have to play with people with boosters.
This would add an entirely new and exciting element to clan wars. Being able to actually cooperate with your clan members in real time would be an amazing thing to see. Just imagine two clanmates seizing two limbs each in order to execute a takedown, or kicking the same joint in order to force a DM...
"most people can't run it" is not an excuse anymore.
tb going to be relised on steam which means enourmous potential playerbase, so instead of gimping game for the sake of scrubs who can barely play it, make it more appealing for people, even if it means alienating some of these scrubs with pc / netbooks from 2001

because, hey, targeting
Yeah, the standards for the average PC are rising, and the newcomers from Steam will most likely have significantly more powerful systems than those here, so it's just a feature those who can't run it should not use. I certainly agree that we shouldn't let the lesser computers bottleneck the development of the game.

I would playing 2v2 toribash. Just imagine the chaos xD. Although I can see issues with certain computers not being able to run it. Still supported.
