I'm not so sure. Fish and the other mods are pretty adamant that it's not a joke, and they have expressed their disappointment in everyone for thinking so. However, apparently Red Subs won the March Madness event, which is an instant red flag since Shutter Shades were in a commanding lead and the subs were facing a complete and utter defeat. I still have my money on a joke.

I'd agree with that, there is almost no way the red subs won the event. If they really did, they better tell us how, because they not only had the least number of members, but also points :O
The 3-D hat thing was a cool April fools joke, and as my friends didn't play any big jokes on me this year, I was quite happy Toribash did. The whole thing was a little too cheesy though, it's quite obvious Valve wouldn't care about hats :P

I think it depends on what settings you are running ingame. You prob need hairs and all the other stuff turned on.

hair, particles, blood - everything is on and on high settings. Does it work for you TempIar?

Hep, you need 4.7 to see shades, hats, etc.
