And if you aren't on the list, suck it up, because there is a reason why you may not be on the list. Its harsh but we can't all be whining about it. There are other ways to contribute to the clan without being in the council.

How about something i call executive decision. Each leader/co-leader chooses X amount of people honestly and fairly, without communication between these leaders. The players chosen will have had to have done something good that helped the clan in some way. Also someone who is actively posting and actively in-game. Or at least moderately active. The people most mentioned become The "council members." I don't think the people below leader ranks should know when this voting goes on. If there is a tie between people, then maybe, the leaders can vote on the two people again and the winner of that wins the tie for the last spot only.
