Thats not necessarily true. The purpose of the free form app is:
1. To tell if the person is serious about applying for it or not.
2. To show how well they type grammar wise.
3. To give a bit of background to their personalities from the start.
4. And to allow people to put whatever they think is necessary for the position that they are applying for. This will show their current knowledge in the area of which they are applying. In this case it would be knowledge of clans, forums, etc etc.

To inactive, when you were in Rage you only posted one time and that was your app, you did not even tell them you left. Clearly you didn't forget about them since you added it to your app. If you were loyal you would have re-applied.
