Just a tip: I don't know what you are planing to do with the BG, but I think its too dark. Also the shadows could be like........ under the toris. I mean do a light source from every direction, and make one coming from the top. Then make the ones on the side a bit duller, and let the one on the top stay bright. that way the light will go under the toris.

Just a tip ;) Nice work so far though :P
