"Apprentice" system?
I'm sure everyone has noticed lately that our applicants have been dropping in standard.
Whether they simply put in no effort, are assholes,
or don't meet certain requirements (such as qi, belt or posts).

Why you want to join. Be specific. What made you choose this clan and not another one? I have seen box around and it seems, that you guys are cool i'm looking for a clan to get started in. I work for an Imaging company that lets me bring my pc. So, I'm on the forums and in game for a solid 5 hrs m-f and hit an miss on the weekends. I have an AA in Graphic Design, but my job is mostly zit removal lol. If you need anything done let me know wether i make it o not. Ill post a few Replays in a minute when i switch from my work pc to my own.
I know I don't have a lot of post yet, but like I said, Now that I Grad and have a steady job I am ready to be much more active.

some of my replay.... ah yes, if you see [Bleu] tag. Well.. i'm no longer with bleu since i month ago.
I would have been perfectly happy to give them a yes if they DID meet the requirements.
So what I'm suggesting is that we put them on a "Watch" list until they meet the full requirements before recruiting them in. (Of course we'd still have to vote before putting them on the list)
Also suggesting that we treat these people as "Apprectice" members (maybe they'd have to wear a "Apprentice[SyN]" tag or something) and groom them to become full members. After we decide that they're ready, we'd run them through a test, etc etc.
