I spent the last of my moneys yesterday.
On a lay-by, 2kg box of gummi bears and a gaem for a handheld I don't even own yet.

Youth Allowance.
Only thing the Australian government is good for. I get about $300 a fortnight, but $100 goes to mum so she can pay bills, get food, etc.

BT dubs, first paycheck came in, made $200

I make $400 a week, possibly more, because this paycheck was one for 2 weeks that I didn't have an actual shift plan

Fortnight = 2 weeks.


I'm in the process of getting a job.
Cause I only finished Year 10, a lot of the places were I live won't hire me, cause they think I'm dumb or some shit.
So, I need to get a year 12 equivalent or higher cert. so they think I'm smart, which I'm doing through an employment thingy cause that way I don't have to pay for it.
And if/when I do get a job, and I need further training or equipment they'll pay for it for me.



Grown-up stuff is hard

you make $300 a week, -$100 for your mom... what the hell? You get paid as much as I do simply for existing, and I have to work my ass off in manual labor
