HTOTM: FUSION
I'm one of those people that if they hear something bad, like the world ending in 2012, I will believe it even though I truly don't want to. I don't think the world will end this year, it's false in my opinion.

Though, I did read somewhere that in a very very very long time when we're all dead, i'm talking millenniums away, the sun will eventually blow up and burn everything in it's vicinity - Something like that anyway.
ITs true the sun will eventually explode but not for quite a long time , but we will have the global warming to look foward to and the possibility of the polarities of the earth shifting , you can start reading the effects of this actauly . On the coast of BC Canada there are squid that have migrated down from the north in massive numbers for some reason , it may sound cool and interesting to see but these squid are acting like a school of paranas and taring apart anything it there path . Theres no explanation why they are doing this but some think it is because of the north waters warming or the slow axis change of the earth thats causing them to go insane .

On the coast of China , giant jellyfish are doing the same . But these creatures are resting togeather on the surface of the water and it stretches for miles at a time, the creepy part is that more keep coming and adding to the groups . These jellyfish are massive too ( 8 or 9 ft) , bigger then you or I so you can see the problem they cause . Even a person would have no chance if he or she were to fall into a group .

Deep sea life are also starting to rise to find colder waters , giant squid bodies have been washing a shore more often now and soon will adapt to the warmer waters so the great white shark will eventualy no longer be the biggest preditor to fear in our oceans.

Those jellyfish to the Japanese are mostly the problem. Because of them, the Japanese can't fish anymore. Which is one of their main food. No sushi, no sashimi... They can't do anything now. Even though they've started to kill them, the number just multiplies faster than they kill. I would call it: nature's revenge. Finally something that nature produces is breeding or multiplying faster than us humans kill, it is mother nature's vengeance.
Though all I can say is: poor Japanese

Alright, next. Did you have a favorite toy as a kid? If so, what was it and why was it your favorite? Also, did you read books at all as a kid(outside of school)?

I had a huge collection of LEGO sets when I was a kid, and that was my favorite thing to play with. There was a time where I even woke up early intentionally so I could build something before school. There were also a pair of big(30-40cm) military action figures(with lots of joints and so on - they also had equipment such as guns, swords, armors), and I used to create elaborate scenarios where they would engage in hand-to-hand or close quarters combat in an effort to kill a certain criminal mastermind. They would also have regular sparring sessions with a lot of choreographed attacks

I read a lot of books as s kid(still do to this day), though I doubt that comes as any surprise to you. White Fang was one of my most favorite books, Les Miserables was among them, and the Harry Potter series was in there too. While I love the books, I refuse to watch the movies ... saw the first three, what I imagined was much, much better than what they portrayed in the films.

You basically said what I do...Nothing really to add, 'cept I read Artemis Fowl as well, and LOTR was great (books, haven't watched movies).
My kicks will give you U-NO-POO.
Hunters - Trespassers will be pwned.
Hmmm... When I was very little, like 3 or 4 years of age, I had alot of small metal model cars. Had quite some fun with those. Throughout my sixth through tenth years, I build up a grand collection of K'nex, with which I built massive motorized windmills and trucks and stuff, some were over one meter in length, width, height. Depending on what it was, of course. On the reading subject, my grandma gave me a pocket-sized Bible when I was a 5 year-old boy. My parents couldn't be bothered to read it to me, the letters "gave them a headache". So during the 3 months that followed I read it myself . Along my favorite books are: Torak and Wolf 1-6, The Hungergames 1-3, and Pinocchio.
When I was a kid I had several kilos of lego. I mean like A LOT of lego. It is now on the attic, shame cause sometimes I actually feel like being creative and that's really what legos are about. I never kept the ones you build with the description and all instead I plocked them appart and made my own builds. These never really lasted long either due to me not playing (you know, warriors, and lightsabers ) with the legos very often. I only wanted to build and build again.
When i was kid i had toy soliders , and they we're my favourite.
I played with them all the time with my cousin. We tought it was WWII and my cousin was the commander and I listened to his orders and stuff... We had like over 400 soliders.. All kinds: Americans, Germans, Russians, British. We had like over 3kg of soliders and my grandma always yelled at us becouse we were always messy (Many "dead" soliders) and she was stepping on them. Ahh good old times.. Now i have like 50 of 'em.
I only play video games and that kind of technology stuff when I was a kid. I also ready a lot of books.

By the way, does someone want to buy acid user text for 3000tc?
