Я ничего не читал кроме "Таинтсвенный остров" от Жюль Верна вроде. Заставили несколько лет назад почитать. Неплохо.

Любой ирк, но советую качать mirc 6.35, или kvirc (он на рус.), разберёшся. Заходишь на канал #toribash и пишешь в пм админу. Красному. Ну и слип часто отвечает на подобные просьбы.
